Completed in July 2018 for Planet Ark Power at Matthew Flinders Anglican College. This project was completed over four stages with the first three being in the holidays and the last stage completed during school hours however this stage was primarily in the senior school and out of everyday traffic for the school. This system will be used to oᎥset the energy usage of the schools daytime air conditioning etc. We are ecstatic that this system will be used as a tool to educate the students on the advantages of sustainable and renewable energy and that is why we love what we do.

ALPHA HOSPITAL AND EMERGENCY SERVICES COMPLEX

MARCH 2016
Client: Queensland Health
Principal Contractor: Hutchinson Builders
Principal Electrical Contractor: Tony Thompson Electrical
Principal Solar Contractor: Ecolution Industries

Ecolution Industries was engaged to design and implement a 15kW solar systems for the newly constructed combined hospital and emergency services complex in Alpha, west of Emerald in Central Queensland.

The complex houses a hospital with an ICU ward and medical staff quarters and is also the new home of Alpha police, fire and ambulance services. The remote location presented a number of challenges with regard to site access, getting equipment and hardware to site, working around numerous other contractors on a busy construction site (This was amplified due to the limited installs implemented into a new construction buildings), communicating and submitting all necessary paperwork to local electrical supply authority for network connection approval and agreement.

Ecolution are proud to have been a part of this project’s and excited to see the government specifying and implementing renewable energy systems into their new construction programs.
